About Sudha
I have recently completed my A-levels in English Literature, History and Economics. I have been predicted an A in my English Literature A-level and gained all A's and A*s in 10 GCSEs. I am looking to tutor during the summer holidays as I aim to go to university this Septemeber. I will be able to improve essay writing skills, encourage students to think outside the box and increase confidence in their ideas. I am extremely passionate about literature and my favourite author is Khaled Hosseini. During my A levels I studied the following texts; Othello by William Shakespeare, Tess of the D'ubervilles by Thomas Hardy, The Handmaids Tale by Margeret Atwood, A Doll's House by Henrik Ibsen, A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini, Feminine Gospels by Carol Ann Duffy, Top Girls by Caryl Churchill and a range of poem from the 'Love from the ages' AQA poetry anthology. I look forward to teaching new texts I am presented with and will aim to improve essay writing skills with any books I am not familiar with. As I am going to university this September, I will only be available for the rest of June, July and August.

My approach to teaching would be to encourage students to think outside the box. Many students studying English Literature tend to restrict their thinking. During lessons, I will be more than happy to look through essays and show them how to improve their essay writing skills. I will also help them develop their ideas and help them write more coherently.
