About Kaleigh
I am a current student working towards two degrees: Vocal Performance and English. I am incredibly passionate about my subjects and will help make learning fun and enjoyable so that you may feel the same!
I have been giving lessons for three years, part of which I spent as a Teacher's Assistant to a middle school choir teacher. I have also held private lessons on comparative literature, manage several book clubs, and been a guest speaker for English classrooms.
I currently work as a Story Manager and Scriptwriter for a media company, where I apply my skills of critical reading and writing, and manage a large group of contracted creatives by editing their work and coaching them in their projects.
My past students have seen great improvement in their abilities to write essays, speeches, and debates. The writers that I manage through my company have seen increased compensation and work opportunities through my career and professional coaching of the written word. Study under me, and you will too!

My teaching method is goal-oriented. By establashing desired areas of growth and taking into account the wants and needs of the student, I devise a personalized lesson plan with a strategy tailored to achieve the best possible results.
I use a plethora of written pieces ranging from classical to modern literature, and everything in between, to model exemplary writing and teach critical reading skills. Students learn how to hone their own personal styles that will best work for them in their academic and professional endeavors.
My ideal students are middle school or high school students looking to improve their written and oral expression, boost their essay writing skills, and achieve higher scores on tests and AP exams.
