About Chloe
I am a friendly, patient, and understanding person with a passion for education. I have studied English Literature for almost 10 years at university level, completing a BA, two MAs, and a PhD. During that time, I have gained experience planning and teaching an undergraduate seminar group. I am currently working as a teaching assistant at a secondary school, in which I assist students in various subjects, including English.
I am very organised and punctual, and will always arrive at our lessons with a teaching plan that is tailored to the individual student, allowing you to make the most of your own strengths. I am extremely open to feedback and am keen to work with students to make the most of our sessions together.

I believe in tailoring the lesson to individual students. After an initial meeting to get to know you, I will create a lesson plan that works with your particular learning style to help you get the most out of our sessions. With a mixture of writing exercises, supported reading, visual tasks, and creative tasks, I find what works for each student to create a tailored plan. Each session would typically last an hour, but 30 minute sessions are available.
I have experience of teaching an undergraduate English seminar group, and am currently working as a teaching assistant at a secondary school. With a BA, two MAs, and a PhD in English Literature, I specialize in literature but am also able to tutor GCSE English Language. I am available to tutor GCSE, A Level, and BA levels.
