About Jemima
Hi, I'm Jemima! I'm a scholarship holder and graduate of Matthew Flinders Anglican College with a passion for helping students grow in confidence and enjoy learning. I achieved over 95% in both English Literature and Literature Extension and studied Music through to Year 12, giving me a strong foundation to support students in both English and beginner guitar.
I understand that every student learns differently, so I create lessons that are patient, supportive, and tailored to each individual's goals. Whether you're aiming to improve your English grades, prepare for exams, or pick up the guitar for the first time, I'll work with you at a pace that feels comfortable while keeping lessons engaging and encouraging.
I'm reliable, organized, and committed to helping my students succeed. My goal is not only to improve results but also to build confidence and make learning an enjoyable experience. I look forward to helping you achieve your goals!

I believe the best learning happens when students feel comfortable, supported, and encouraged to ask questions. I tailor each lesson to the individual student's goals, learning style, and pace, creating a positive and engaging environment where they can build confidence and enjoy learning.
For English Literature, I help students develop strong analytical, essay-writing, and critical thinking skills while preparing for assignments and exams. Having achieved over 95% in both English Literature and Literature Extension, I understand what exam markers are looking for and can provide practical strategies to help students improve.
For guitar, I teach beginners of all ages, focusing on building a solid foundation through basic chords, strumming patterns, rhythm, and playing simple songs. My lessons are patient, encouraging, and designed to make learning fun without feeling overwhelming.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, although shorter sessions can be arranged for younger students. I tutor primary and high school students in English and beginner guitar, whether they are looking to improve their grades, gain confidence, or learn a new skill. As a scholarship holder and graduate of Matthew Flinders Anglican College, I combine strong academic achievement with a friendly and approachable teaching style to help every student reach their potential.
