About Leya
My name is Leya and I am a graduate of Oxford University, where I received academic awards in my second and third year. I have a deep passion for English literature, which I enrich through my knowledge and interests in art, history of art and history.
I value open, exploratory learning, and believe that the best process comes from curiosity and conversation. I encourage students to think independently, question ideas and approach literature with confidence, originality and a willingness to challenge interpretations. I am approachable and supportive, creating a relaxed environment where students can feel comfortable expressing their thoughts and developing their own voice.

I tailor each lesson to the individual, adapting my approach to suit different learning styles for all levels and ages. Using close analysis, in-depth discussion, essay feedback and exam-focused strategies, I build confidence and deepen understanding to help students develop clear, critical responses. Lessons are typically 60 minutes and are best suited for GCSE, A Level and university applicants.
