I am here to make sure that you feel confident with your ability to study and comprehend your assignments. I believe in finding a way for you to connect with your studies and will work patiently with you to achieve those goals. I explain things clearly, and always make sure to meet you at your level. I don't believe in talking down to students or assuming that they should know something that the school system may not have sufficiently taught you already. I also believe that you are capable of accomplishing whatever you set your mind to, and we will get there together.

My methods as a tutor are pretty simple. I assist my students with comprehending their assignments and mapping out an easy and strategic way for completing them. I find that making assignments accessible- whether they be essays, projects, or science problems-is the key to doing well in class. I am not here to do your work for you, but rather, I am here to make sure that you are equipped with the skills necessary to excel in your classes. No one student is inherently smarter than another, if you have to right tools, you can accomplish whatever you want. Helping students find that confidence and motivation within themselves is what I am passionate about.
So a typical lesson plan for me would be going over the assignments that you are struggling with and finding a way to better understand them. If you are just looking for generalized help, I will help you become familiar with studying techniques that work for you.
I work mostly with high school students, or lower-level undergraduate students.
