About Abigail
I'm Abi! I'm a recent English Literature Graduate and I've been tutoring in English for the past 4 years. I write poetry in my free time and I have two published poems currently! My passion is Literary Analysis whilst also enjoying the creative side of English. My lessons are to suit you! I like to get to know students before teaching so I can understand your particular interests, how you like to learn, and areas you would like more support. I also have two younger brothers so I am familiar with all ages, and like to create a warm and relaxed environment for you to learn.

I take a structured yet creative approach to tutoring. My lessons are typically an hour (some flexibility depending on the circumstance), with reading and tasks set outside of class. I have tutored groups and individuals from primary school to undergraduate level in both English Literature and English Language. I follow a routined lesson plan, ensuring all topics are covered, with special emphasis on a student's particular struggles/areas they need extra support. I make a point of covering an array of focus points to allow the student to have a diverse knowledge on the subject whilst also offering tailored support to certain elements where necessary.
