I am an English Literature M.A. candidate with experience teaching literature, composition, and creative writing to middle school, high school, and undergraduate students. I use a student-centered, discussion-based approach that emphasizes close reading, critical thinking, and clear, confident writing. Lessons typically include guided analysis of texts, collaborative discussion, targeted skill-building (thesis development, argumentation, or creative techniques) and individualized feedback. What sets me apart is my ability to adapt material to each student’s level and needs, making literary/critical study engaging and accessible. I teach middle school to undergrad students, including support for coursework, exams, long-form writing projects, research papers, college essays etc.
