About Chelsea
I am a registered teacher with a degree in English and Linguistics, as well as a completed Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE). I currently teach English Home Language and English First Additional Language at a vibrant and inclusive school.
I am fluent in Afrikaans and use the language confidently in both communication and teaching contexts. I enjoy supporting learners in developing strong language skills—whether in English or Afrikaans—in a way that builds both competence and confidence.
I believe that education is a powerful tool for change, and that every learner deserves to be seen, heard, and supported throughout their learning journey.
Ek is 'n geregistreerde onderwyser met 'n graad in Engels en Linguistiek, asook 'n voltooide Nagraadse Onderwyssertifikaat (PGCE). Ek onderrig tans Engels Huistaal en Eerste Addisionele Taal by 'n lewendige en inklusiewe skool.
Ek is vlot in Afrikaans en gebruik die taal met selfvertroue in beide kommunikasie- en onderrigkontekste. Ek geniet dit om leerders te ondersteun in die ontwikkeling van sterk taalvaardighede—hetsy in Engels of Afrikaans—op 'n manier wat hul vaardigheid én selfvertroue versterk.
Ek glo dat onderwys ’n kragtige middel tot verandering is, en dat elke leerder dit verdien om gesien, gehoor en ondersteun te word op hul leerpad.
