About Mae
I have 13 years of experience teaching English and hold a PhD in English Language and Literacy Studies. During my career, I have worked with students from diverse backgrounds, helping them strengthen communication skills for academic, professional, and personal success. Seeing learners become more confident in English continues to motivate me.
My teaching philosophy is built on patience, clarity, and learner-centered instruction. I believe students achieve the best results when they actively participate and apply language in practical contexts. Lessons are designed to support steady progress and long-term confidence.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy reading contemporary literature, exploring language education research, and developing educational resources. These interests help me bring fresh ideas into every lesson. I am committed to helping students achieve their language goals and communicate with confidence.

My English lessons focus on helping students communicate naturally and confidently in a variety of situations. We work on speaking skills, listening comprehension, grammar improvement, vocabulary building, pronunciation development, reading strategies, and writing practice. Every lesson is designed to strengthen communication through meaningful and practical activities.
Students engage in conversation exercises, reading discussions, vocabulary challenges, storytelling activities, listening tasks, and grammar application exercises. I use straightforward explanations and real-world examples to make learning easier and more effective. Lessons are personalized to suit individual needs and goals.
I enjoy helping students become more confident users of English while developing skills they can apply in daily life. Through supportive instruction and regular practice, learners improve fluency, accuracy, and communication confidence. My goal is to make English learning both useful and enjoyable.
