About Edna
I am a certified teacher in 2 countries, Kenya, where I taught for eleven years and the United States where I taught for a year.
I am in the process of getting certified by the Ontario College of Teachers so that I can teach in Ontario.
Teaching is my absolute passion.

I studied English as a second language in school. This means we started from the basics, from the letters, then to words, to phrases, to clauses and finally to sentences. Then I learnt how to use a variety of sentences. I then took an interest in reading, writing and literature. English is such a dynamic language, whose rules are easy to master once you employ the right attitude in learning it.
This is where I come in. I will meet a student at the level they are in, and work patiently with them to achieve the highest proficiency levels possible for their grade level.
