About Odelia

I hold an M.A. in English Language and Communication Studies and have 11 years of experience teaching English to learners from diverse backgrounds. My academic training helps me explain language rules clearly while keeping lessons practical and engaging. I value clarity, patience, and supportive guidance. My teaching philosophy centers on encouragement and adaptability. I take time to understand each student’s challenges and goals, adjusting lesson pace and content accordingly. Creating a safe learning environment is essential to my approach. Outside teaching, I enjoy reading literature, exploring communication research, and developing new lesson materials. Teaching English is fulfilling because I see students grow in confidence and independence. Helping learners express themselves clearly and authentically is the most rewarding part of my work.

About the lesson

My English lessons focus on helping students communicate clearly, comfortably, and confidently in real-life situations. I work on grammar foundations, sentence structure, vocabulary building, pronunciation clarity, listening skills, and natural speaking flow. Lessons are designed to feel relaxed and encouraging, allowing learners to practice without fear of mistakes. I use conversations, guided exercises, short readings, and practical examples to make learning meaningful and easy to apply.

Lesson plans are adapted to each learner’s needs and goals. Beginners focus on basic sentence formation, everyday vocabulary, pronunciation awareness, and simple conversations. Intermediate learners develop fluency, improve grammar accuracy, expand vocabulary, and express opinions with confidence. Advanced students refine tone, clarity, writing structure, argument development, and professional communication skills. Each lesson includes repetition, reflection, and feedback to support steady improvement.

English lessons support personal growth and confidence beyond language learning. Students become more comfortable expressing ideas, sharing thoughts, and participating in discussions. My goal is to help learners feel confident using English in daily life, work, travel, and social settings, while enjoying the learning process.
