About Minna
I am an enthusiastic and friendly individual who loves people. I throughly enjoyed my time in school so would love to help people have a learning experience as positive as I did! I am hardworking and energetic so will always try to make sessions as fun and interactive as possible. I am currently studying economics and politics at the University of Leeds, being a student myself helps me to relate to learners and empathise with them in a constructive way. Though I am still a student I will conduct lessons in a very professional and responsible manner as I have conducted other responsibilities including being captain of the Leeds University 1st lacrosse team. I am a natural leader meaning I am a good listener and also very positive which I believe I can use to encourage confidence in my students.

Tutoring sessions will be engaging and interesting to keep student motivated and feeling confident. I am a friendly person so will always aim to make all sessions fun and insightful. Typical lessons will last for an hour with fun activities and breaks to maintain a high level of concentration and so that the student can get as much out of the session as possible. Lessons are available for all ages from 7 to 18, including GCSE and A-level students. My attainment of consistent A* grades in school and a Pearson Peer Mentoring Qualification allow me to provide and friendly and high quality teaching experience. Furthermore, a nannying background means I have patience and experience with helping children on an academic basis.
