About Shu-ya
Hi! My name is Shu-ya Li but you can call me Shally! I graduated recently in 2025 at an IEB school but I have NSC qualifications! Namely 91% for Engineering, Graphics and Design (EGD), 79% for Business Studies and 76% for English Home Language! I prefer scheduled lessons, honest feedback - don't be afraid to challenge me - and patience to help you achieve your goals. I will be studying at Stellenbosch University for BCom (management sciences) in 2027. I am always open to questions about my work, feel free to reach out! :)

I aim to tutor students who struggle with English to broaden their comprehension skills and critical thinking not only for school but their understanding of the world! I am patient and make sure that you understand what you are reading or writing so that you feel less lost when you read or write. You can expect a structured plan of what exactly you would like to go over in English - be it exam prep or proof reading your essays! I tutor grade 8 - matric level.
