About Effie

I graduated college in three and a half years, lived in Australia, Samoa, and Greece, and love what I do. What I find fascinating is that anywhere you go, humans are the same. I don't want to spend too much time blabbing about myself. I like dancing, writing scripts and poetry, reading good and bad books, and sometimes doing nothing. I'm excited to see what you want to accomplish and how I can get you there. As a funny side note--I used to do my sisters' English homework and science papers, not saying I will do your homework, but my past has taught me how to get through homework quickly and effectively.

About the lesson

I am primarily an actor, so I spend most of my time trying to read between the lines and see what perspective I can use for my character.

As your tutor, we will go through what about reading or writing interests you, daunts you, and what areas you'd like to grow.

I have a unique background in the arts and have taught in multiple countries, including Samoa, and have discovered that the mind body connection is a valid place to begin integrating your unique voice into words.

We will use a customized approach for your journey, whether we need to check back in on the basics, do meditation, or shake things out, we will find what your goal could be and how to get there, creatively, together.
