About Eva Maria

I have worked at the University of Toronto (Canada), University of Essex (UK), Quincy College (Massachusetts, USA), Escuela Judicial in Barcelona and a private English school in Athens. I am currently finishing my PhD at the University of Toronto, and I have two MA degrees in Linguistics from the University of Essex, in UK and a BA in Education from the University of Athens, Greece. I have prepared several students for the CPE and CAE exams, and I have tutored hundreds of students in Academic English.

About the lesson

My teaching combines a variety of approaches and methods to help my students reach their goals and potential. For me, it is crucial that my classes are engaging and meaningful to the students. I shape my teaching activities around my students' existing knowledge and strengths, and I always try to be aware of their needs and interests.
