About Morgan
I have been an educator for 10 years, teaching 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th grade. My focus is building confident readers, stronger writers, and critical thinkers. I make challenging concepts approachable through engaging, discussion-based lessons that help students grow both academically and personally.

My approach as a tutor focuses on helping students build confidence and truly understand what they’re learning instead of just memorizing information. I adapt lessons to fit each student’s needs and use discussion, guided practice, modeling, and feedback to make difficult concepts easier to understand.
A typical lesson includes a quick review or warm-up, instruction with examples, guided practice, independent work, and feedback. I focus on helping students explain their thinking, support ideas with evidence, and improve both reading and writing skills.
What sets me apart is that I create a supportive environment while still pushing students to think critically and do their best work. As a licensed English teacher, I have experience with literary analysis, essay writing, reading comprehension, rhetoric, and test preparation.
My lessons are best for middle school, high school, and early college students, including honors, AP, struggling learners, and students who want extra support in English Language Arts.
