About Sylvia
I am an English Education student, and I have over five years of classroom teaching experience with students ranging from toddlers all the way to adult learners. I am fluent in both English and German, and have experience tutoring in both languages at the high school and collegiate level.

I approach teaching with the mindset that every student is unique, and therefore my instruction should be unique to their strengths and needs! Whether you learn best visually, verbally, through reading/writing or through doing, I will find a way to make literacy exciting for you. I strive to incorporate creativity and individuality into my lessons, whether through art or through tasks that ask you to pull ideas from your own experiences.
