About Roxanne

I'm Rox Frost, your online English teacher.
I love language and believe English can unite people and open doors.
With a Bachelor's in English, a Journalism Diploma, and a TEFL certificate, I'm well-equipped to teach English at all levels. My education gives me a strong understanding of language acquisition and modern teaching methods. As an online teacher, my goal is to create a supportive, engaging learning environment.
I tailor lessons to each student's needs and interests because everyone learns differently. In my classes, expect activities, discussions, and exercises to improve your English. I provide constructive feedback and encourage a growth mindset, as mistakes are vital for learning. I'm excited to start this language learning journey with you all.

About the lesson

I believe that the best way to learn is through active engagement.
I use a variety of teaching methods to keep my students engaged, including:
• Questioning: I ask my students questions to check their understanding and to help them think critically about the material.
• Examples: I use examples to illustrate concepts and to help students make connections between the material and their own experiences.
• Hands-on activities: I use hands-on activities to help students learn by doing.
• Collaboration: I encourage my students to collaborate with each other to solve problems and to learn from each other.

I am also a patient and understanding teacher. I am committed to helping my students succeed, and I am always willing to go the extra mile to help them understand the material.

A typical lesson with me will be engaging, interactive, and challenging. I will start by assessing the student's needs and goals, and then I will tailor the lesson accordingly. I will use a variety of teaching methods to keep the student engaged, and I will provide feedback and support throughout the lesson.

My lessons are aimed at students of all levels, from beginner to advanced. I am also able to work with students with special needs.
