I’ve been traveling and working all over the world for 15 years now, in the tourism sector (hotels, restaurants, guided tours). Now I am a flight attendant and I make all my free time available for those who would like to expand their language skills. Contact me!

Cosa ti ha fatto appassionare a questa lingua? Origini familiari, interesse personale, un insegnante ispirante o magari un grande amore?
La passione per questa lingua è avvenuta per necessità, quando a 19 anni ho lasciato l'Italia alla volta del mondo!
Quale personaggio, storico o inventato, secondo te rappresenta in pieno la cultura legata a questa lingua?
Ci sono tanto personaggi a mio parere che rappresentano questa lingua…iniziamo da Shakespeare (la lingua antica) passiamo a Mary Poppins (la polite forme) e poi i Muppets e Mr Bean (British humor).
C'è una parola, un'espressione, una tradizione o un'abitudine culturale che ti diverte o ti fa ridere?
"It rains cats and dogs" mi fa sempre sorridere vedendo la pioggia inglese!
Halloween è anche una delle mie feste preferite della "tradizione" americana.
Perché per te è importante parlare questa lingua?
Conoscere l'inglese apre le porte del mondo, è certamente una delle lingue piu parlate nel pianeta terra.
Qual è, secondo te, la caratteristica più ostica che si incontra nell'apprendimento di questa lingua?
Non ci sono ostacoli nella lingua, piuttosto essi vengono posto da chi cerca di apprendere senza motivazione (es: vergogna, paura di sbagliare)
Raccontaci un aneddoto divertente o particolare relativo alla tua formazione o ad una esperienza di lezione!
Anche io come tanti avevo paura di sbagliare e dovevo essere sempre la "perfettina" fino a che convinta che si dicesse "i'm courius to know" continuavo a ripeterlo all infinito, e io sono come Alice…molto curiosa…un bel giorno, mentre raccontavo un aneddoto a un amico al supermercato, l'ho detto di nuovo, la cassiera si ferma e con tutto il suo splendore dice "it's…I wonder not I'm courius to know!…I'm even wondering how you spell it…mh!" Mi volevo sotterrare ma il mio amico è scoppiato in una risata che ha trascinato tutta la fila a ridere me compresa!
Aiutaci a conoscerti meglio: parlaci delle tue passioni, dei tuoi viaggi, dei tuoi hobby!
Quando racconto dei miei viaggi mi sento dire "mamma mia quanti posto hai visto" poi guardo la mappa e non sono mai abbastanza, perciò la considero la mia passione più grande, conoscere culture nuove, imparare lingue, usi e costumi!
La mia seconda passione più grande è lo Yoga che combino con l'inglese (dato che gli studi sono stati tutti in lingua).
