About Peggy

I have a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in media studies from Virginia Commonwealth University. I graduated with a 3.9 GPA. Throughout my studies, I delivered numerous class presentations, teaching my peers and earning high praise from professors for my clear and creative communication skills. In addition to my academic achievements, I served as the Executive Editor of The Commonwealth Times, my university's award-winning, independent student-run newspaper. This role gave me extensive experience assisting students with their writing through workshops and one-on-one guidance. I was also selected and trained as a writing center tutor at the Berkshire School, a competitive and academically rigorous boarding school, where I honed my ability to support students' writing endeavors. Overall, I am passionate about English and writing, and I enjoy collaborating with others to enhance their skills and deepen their understanding of these disciplines.

About the lesson

My lessons cater to anyone seeking assistance with writing, whether it's a college essay, cover letter, creative piece, or academic paper. I also offer support for English class assignments and materials. I believe everyone has the potential to be an exceptional writer and student, and I approach each lesson with this mindset, always valuing and respecting my students' ideas and work. I'm passionate about engaging in thoughtful discussions with students about their writing and coursework, helping them express themselves more effectively and deepen their understanding of the material and concepts.
