About Marcella R
I have been teaching English and Social Studies for seven years. The grade levels I have taught are 6th-8th and 9th-11th grade. I have a master's degree in Literacy and Curriculum and Instruction. Therefore, knowing how to break down assignments and offer necessary scaffolding to get the desired outcome your teachers want in these assignments is a specialty of mine! I am very feedback-oriented and love creating graphic organizers that will help you organize your thoughts and information.

My lessons focus on guided levels of understanding through scaffolding and differentiation of a text and learning outcome. I have a master's degree in literacy and curriculum and instruction. This allows me to know how to slow down pacing, build necessary and needed background knowledge one will need to complete an assignment, and much more! Breaking down and giving feedback to essays is something I know very well. If students are struggling with writing an essay and knowing what should be done/written is where I can help the most! 6th-10th grade Social Studies or ELA is where my area of expertise lies.
