About Mel
My name is Mel Clarke. I am an experienced and knowledgeable English and History teacher based in Rathfarnham, Co Dublin, who believes in getting the best out of my students. I believe in tapping into my students' creativity while also providing structure to their learning. Exam results are hugely important but so is the journey towards attaining them.
I am also a TV/film critic for the Sunday Times and I have used my knowledge of television and film in classwork, when relevant.

I am a student-oriented teacher who endeavours to tap into pupils' creativity but also firmly believes in structure and covering all relevant aspects of courseware. My classes run for one hour and are aimed primarily at secondary level (12-19 years-old) and older students.
