About Anthony
I have more than 25 years English teaching experience incorporating all areas of language acquisition. Informal and formal grammar skills, reading for context, speaking and all components of writing proficiency are shaped to the specific communication needs of society, academia and commerce. I teach all English skills required for high school and university undergraduate students.
I am also an Afrikaans and History teacher for high school students from grade 8-12.

My teaching approach is student-centered with emphasis on a needs analysis of individual students and their levels of language proficiency. I also use a task-based approach in alignment with students needs for specific outcomes. I teach all levels of English proficiency for either mother-tongue speakers, second language users or students of English as a foreign language from high school entrants to undergraduate level. My lessons are fun, interactive and followed up by comprehensive feedback
