About Sanupa
I am a mathematics enthusiast with strong academic results and experience in international mathematics competitions. I achieved A in Combined Mathematics for my G.C.E A/L examinations and have participated in several international mathematics competitions representing Sri Lanka.
Some of my achievements include medals in competitions such as:
• Indonesia International Mathematics Competition (IIMC) – Bronze Medal
• South Africa International Mathematics Competition (SAIMC) – Bronze Medal
• Bulgaria International Mathematics Competition (BIMC) – Bronze Medal
• International Mathematics and Science Olympiad (IMSO) – Bronze Medal
• Thailand International Mathematics Olympiad (TIMO) – Multiple medals
Through these competitions, I developed strong skills in mathematical reasoning, problem solving, and logical thinking. I enjoy helping students understand mathematics more clearly and build confidence in solving challenging problems.

My approach to teaching mathematics focuses on building a strong understanding of concepts rather than memorizing formulas. I believe students learn mathematics best when they clearly understand the logic behind each step.
During lessons, I explain concepts in a simple and structured way and then guide students through examples and practice problems. I also encourage students to ask questions and develop confidence in solving problems independently.
My teaching focuses on:
Understanding mathematical concepts step by step
Developing logical thinking and problem-solving skills
Practicing different types of questions
Improving exam techniques and time management
A typical lesson lasts about 60 minutes. Each lesson usually includes explanation of concepts, guided problem solving, and practice exercises.
I have experience participating in several international mathematics competitions, which helped me develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills. My lessons are suitable for school students who want to improve their mathematics understanding, exam performance, and confidence in the subject.
