About Uvindu
Hello, my future students, my name is Uvindu. I'm a University of Auckland Engineering student living in Mount Roskill. During my years at Hamilton Boys' High School, I served as a prefect and was an Academic Honors Student. Throughout my schooling year, I was fortunate enough to undertake a dual-qualification system in which I studied the NCEA and Cambridge curricula simultaneously. I achieved excellence in NCEA levels 1, 2, and 3, with subject endorsements in Science, Accounting, Psychology, and Advanced Information Technology, while gaining an A in Cambridge Mathematics (IGCSE and AS). I have also gained extensive tutoring experience through my volunteer roles at the Refuge Orientation Center and Manaaki Homework Center at Hamilton Boys' High School.
As a former high school student who went through the New Zealand educational system, I understand the need for help with schoolwork. I aspire to be a friendly teacher you can depend on for exam preparation. I will help you make cheat sheets, teach you study techniques I have found useful, and help you improve your studies.

I am a flexible tutor, willing to do both in-person and online classes. I would prefer to do 1-2 hour lessons, going over school homework first and then an overview of the week's theory learned at school. I will also like to evaluate my student's strengths and weaknesses to better understand the best ways to assist them.
