About Claire
I am an engineering student who struggled my first year of algebra. I came back strong and though it took me time to understand, I began to fall in love with math. Now, I am working on my math minor, having just finished differential equations and still, I am passionate about calculus and algebra. In math, everything can be explained from at least two viewpoints, and I love to find as many possible angles to describe concepts. This helped me cement my mathematical knowledge and I believe there is a way to explain anything so that anyone can understand it, no matter how young or old.

I have been tutoring math for over two years, and every student learns differently. My passion is to ensure that every student understands concepts. When I struggled in my math classes, it was because I couldn't understand why I was doing what I was doing. I know I'm not alone in this! I like to explain things from multiple angles, and in different methods (visual, auditory, tactile). I know what it's like to struggle and I don't want other kids to have the same stress I had! Math can be easy and concise from the right explanation at the right time.
