About Samm
I am currently an engineering student at MSU. As an engineering student, I like to find and problem and work towards a way to fix it in the most efficient ways possible. I've been interested in and taken engineering courses to some degree since I was 12/13. My goal as engineering tutor is to help math-minded students grow their interest in numbers and building so that one day, if they please, they will already have a strong engineering foundation to grow from.

As a current engineering student at MSU, my goal in engineering tutoring is to help kids in middle and high school understand the basic skills and techniques needed to become a successful engineer. Lessons include hands on sketching, modeling and building projects that help students understand the function of engineering in society. A typical session will likely include a short lesson on the current form of engineering being taught and then either a paper based or building based activity that implements the skills learned in the lesson of the day. Lessons are typically for middle and high school students, though upper level primary students with an outstanding interest in the field may be accepted.
