About Maria
I believe that no matter how much you're struggling in a class, it's absolutely possible to still succeed! As an engineering student myself, I have faced constant up's and down's throughout my degree. I know what it feels like when a subject seems boring, or impossible to understand. Therefore, I encourage students to not give up on their academic, personal, or career goals, because you're far more capable than you might think.

With a passion to work with students, I aim to not only assist students in their learning, but to also help them discover study skills that will carry them through their studies. I typically will ask for specific topics, questions, past homework assignments, etc., so that I can be fully prepared before our session starts.
I love to embrace all learning styles! From visual, auditory, or kinesthetic learning, I encourage students to ask questions and interact throughout our session, while also catering my teaching style to them.
