About Thomas
Hi I’m Tommy and I go to Oriel College Oxford studying Engineering Science. I play on my college chess team and college rugby team. I like helping others learn and trust me I know how frustrating Maths and Science can be but I promise when you take it back to just understanding rather than memorization it becomes a lot easier and I will be patient with you along the way.

My teaching philosphy follows 3 basic principles:
1. The best way to study is by understanding not memorization
2. The real world and examples should inform logic and help explain problems
3. Patience and kindness create a beneficial working environment that promotes interest and learning.
My experience and credentials:
I have extensive experience teaching students at GCSE and A-level leading revision workshops and volunteering at Maths clinic.
I got 4 A*s at A level (Maths, Further Maths, Chemisty, Physics).
I ran the STEM club at my school.
