About Francesco

I am a university student of engineering, with a scientific high school diploma. I give school repetitions, private lessons and help for the study of subjects such as mathematics, physics, other scientific matters to middle and high school students.

My goal as a teacher is certainly the transmission of knowledge in the simplest and most understandable way for the student, in order to structure a complete teaching, according to the needs of the individual, starting from basic topics, without which it is not possible to deal with information more complex.

Great attention by me is also paid to the transmission of advice and practical study methodologies, simultaneously with the actual teaching of the subjects.

About the lesson

My approach to teaching is based on the transmission of knowledge in the simplest and most direct way possible.

The methodology I adopt varies from time to time, as I try to adapt it as much as possible to the characteristics and needs of the student.

I often tend to have an approach very oriented towards the practical part of the subject, paying more attention to teaching through the resolution of preparatory exercises. With this approach I tend to try to optimize the times and to expose the topics of the lesson in different ways, compared to the purely theoretical ones of ordinary lessons, with which the student had problems of understanding. On other occasions, however, should I realize the lack of solid basic knowledges, the lessons would first be more focused on filling these possible theoretical gaps, and then move on to solving practical problems.

In any case, the main importance is given to the final goal of the student and to the knowledge and skills that are required in the school environment.

The lessons take place interactively: the active participation of the student is therefore essential, who is helped and accompanied in reasoning and in finding solutions to problems by himself. This methodology is certainly more effective than a purely passive approach, in which the student only listen to the explanation by the teacher.
Furthermore, much importance is given to study methodologies and to the development of summarizing skills, through the use of conceptual schemes and maps.

For students of middle school and high school (until the second year): 12 €/h

For students of high school (from the third to the fifth year): 15 €/h

The first lesson lasts 1h30, at hthe price of a normal lesson of 1h, in order to know the student and his needs.
