About Fiya
I am a penultimate year student at Imperial College London studying Civil and Environmental Engineering. I completed IB in 2017. I think I would make a great tutor because I will personalize the learning, incorporate connections to the my students interests, teach to the student's strengths and minimize the student's weaknesses.

Lessons: In the first session, I will set quantitative and qualitative goals and expectations. I will take time to explain the topic and use a scaffolding technique to slowly gain the students understanding of the topic. In addition to teaching the core material, I will try and provide examples of how it is used in the real world. I shall make the sessions interactive and involve the student in every way possible.
