About Andrew

I am a second year engineering student at McGill University and a recent graduate from Vanier College in Pure and Applied Science.

Currently a TEAM Mentor giving tutorials for MATH 263 (Ordinary Differential Equations) at McGill University.

I am a certified tutor (CRLA Level 1), certified by Vanier College.

Being a tutor at Vanier, McGill and a mathematics helper on IB Discord server made me aware of the mistakes that students usually make. I want to give you the best preparation for any path you want to pursue in the future.

About the lesson

My mission is to make the difficult content so simple that you cannot fail to grasp it. For each topic, I will break down the main elements that need to be mastered (the drills) before putting them altogether when introducing the topic (game time).

I am familiar with the IB curriculum and I've had 3 years of experience creating resources for IB students, so if you or your child is taking IB I'd be more than happy to help!

My methodology is personalised based on what you need at any given time, revision or catch up with what you're doing in class. For a regular session, you can expect a lot of examples and questions for you to try on the topic you need help with. For a review session, we can go over a practice exam together and a couple tricks to perform well on your tests.

If you are a CEGEP student, I can also give you some tips and tricks to help you strive in your first semester or come up with a plan to improve your R score to get into your desired program.

This first lesson offered with Andrew will allow you to get to know each other and clearly specify your needs for your next lessons.

Details

- A short diagnostic test will be sent and must be completed prior to the first session. Otherwise, the first paid session will be used to let the student take the test.
- Payment for online sessions must be done via Interact or PayPal.
- Please ask for group discounts.
- If you pay in advance and have to cancel a session, you must let me know at least 24 hours before the class. In that case, we can schedule another class. Otherwise, this is considered a "missed" class and you will be charged half of the price for the session.
