About Emily
I am a first year engineering student at Cambridge University. I did GCSEs followed by the IB at school (with maths A&A, physics and chemistry HL) and am therefore happy to teach either level (or pre-GCSE where required). I am passionate about STEM subjects and enjoy passing on this enthusiasm to my pupils. I am happy to give advice on university applications in this area as well.

I have over a year’s experience in tutoring maths, physics and chemistry, so I am able to adapt lessons based on the pupil’s needs. Lessons will often start with a few questions to see what level the pupil is at already with the topic, before moving onto more targeted teaching. This can include detailed explanations of particular ideas, summaries of a larger topic, or more challenging questions to fully cement understanding. Where required, I can also do lessons focused on revision techniques, working through some of them with the pupil (especially helpful for an upcoming test).
