About Arpita
As a graduate student in Aeronautical Engineering, I have had the privilege of teaching for a year, working with students ranging from grades 1 to 10. I am passionate about imparting knowledge in the fields of physics and mathematics, as I believe these subjects often pose significant challenges for students, especially those who find the concepts difficult to grasp. My goal as an educator is to break down complex ideas into simpler, more manageable parts, making it easier for students to understand and engage with the material. When students finally grasp these concepts, it empowers them and boosts their confidence, making the learning process more enjoyable and less intimidating.

I offer personalized one-on-one coaching sessions, typically lasting at least 1 hour. My approach is structured to ensure that my students fully grasp the subject matter. Each lesson consists of three key components: 1. Concept Explanation: A clear and detailed breakdown of the topic. 2. Strategy to Decode the Question: I guide students on how to approach and understand the problem at hand. 3. Problem-Solving Methodology: I introduce effective methods to solve questions efficiently. The most crucial part of my session is active student participation. I believe in learning through doing, so after I explain the concept and walk through a solution, students solve problems with me. This ensures they are following along and grasping the concept. Once the student demonstrates understanding, they attempt the next question independently. This is where I carefully assess their approach, provide constructive feedback, and help them refine their skills. Through this hands-on and interactive process, I ensure that students not only learn but also develop the confidence and ability to solve problems on their own.
