About Ryan
I've always been interested in physics, but I wasn't very good at math, so both subjects became difficult for me. It took a lot of practice and going through several tutors before finding the right teachers that helped me see math and physics as subjects that could be fun, engaging and rewarding. I am forever grateful to Mr. Hearn and Mr. Butcher for that. They helped me to get comfortable enough with those difficult topics to pursue them further than I ever thought possible. And now I want to pass that on.
I love teaching, coaching and seeing my students develop their understanding. That "aha!" moment, when a student is able to see the patterns, apply their comprehension, and figure out the solution is so rewarding, not just for the student, but for myself as well! Ultimately, my goal is to teach you so well that you don't need me anymore!
My hope is that together, we can de-mystify the world of math, so that things make sense and become easy!

I remember being in high school, struggling with math and just not getting it. I myself needed a tutor many times to help me understand. It took me a while but eventually I learned to teach myself the concepts by re-interpreting them in a way that actually made sense.
I want to give back by sharing my insights! I will work with you to find out what you are struggling with, where you are not getting it, and we will work together to develop methods for you to not just learn the math, but to understand how it works so you can apply your understanding.
