About Deeya

I believe that ANYONE can learn calculus. I find that in many environments, calculus can be taught in a confusing and overly complicated manner and I strive to explain concepts in a clear, approachable way that removes that fear. I have experience working with over 100 high school students as the president of my high school robotics team, which has helped me develop strong communication and leadership skills. I aim to create a supportive, judgment-free environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions.

About the lesson

- Lessons for middle/high schoolers preparing for AP Calculus AB
- 60-90 minute lessons starting with concepts and following with practice problems
- Practice exams/homework are available (and encouraged) but optional depending on your needs
- Homework reviewed before and at the start of each lesson
- 34 lessons + 4 exams total, ready to work at whatever pace suits you
- Online (Yearlong) / In-Person (Summer Only) lessons offered
- Exclusive Carnegie Mellon teaching methods and resources
- Foster a relaxed/positive learning environment
- Happy to work with students who are not confident in calculus
- Flexible Schedule (especially for online)
- NOTE: Student must have taken/be concurrently taking pre-calculus & trigonometry prior to tutoring
