About Elliot
Hi, my name is Elliot and my pronouns are he/they. I am an engineering physics student who tutors physics and math for high school and college students. I have two and a half years of teaching physics to undergrads at the Colorado School of Mines. I have experience lecturing and holding office hours, as well as in-class activity assistance. Teaching students physics and math is my passion and I plan on teaching throughout my career as a physicist.

One thing I have noticed in my time as a teaching assistant is students often struggle most on how to start a problem. One of my specialties is helping people learn how to tackle these difficult problems. Additionally, I love showing students why the things they are learning are true. I have found this allows them to actually begin to understand the material, which makes solving the problems much easier.
I will work with the student to make a lesson plan that works best for them. If you want to walk through practice problems or have a mini lesson on concepts, both work for me.
I am able to tutor anyone from highschool to college math and physics.
