I am a bubbly and enthusiastic individual and my background in Mechanical Engineering has required me to master self-study techniques and systematic exam preparation. My experience as a tutor includes providing maths support for children preparing for the 11+ exam, common entrance and GCSEs/IGCSEs. At University I am a peer mentor to first year Engineering students and in the past ran an afterschool STEM for girls club. I typically help children improve their understanding of concepts by offering a personalised approach, providing a fresh perspective on concepts often taught in large school classes. By tailoring lessons to individual needs whether identifying weaknesses in homework or helping with school assessments and revision, I ensure deeper understanding and a more engaging, one-on-one learning experience. A typical length of lesson would be 50 mins depending on the child and how much support they require.
