About Shade
I am a personal tutor with a major in Engineering. I specialize in mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology for elementary, middle school, and high school students. I have always been passionate about math and science subjects and helping others understand them well. My first session is always dedicated to goal and lesson planning, and getting to know you and what you're comfortable with. Lessons are planned based on what the student covered during class the previous week. I also work with the students to identify and understand the difficult aspects of a topic. My teaching method includes a visual aspect, practice problems and solutions. A typical lesson plan includes review content from the previous week, explanation for key concepts as well as practice problems for the next week. The lessons are specifically designed for students in grade 2 up to grade 12.
