About Visalam

I am in the teaching field for more than a decade covering wide range of students from primary school children to graduate level students. I take tuition for GCSE, A-levels, 10+, 11+ exams. Apart from that I take booster classes for primary and secondary children who are struggling to understand the concepts.

About the lesson

As a qualified lecturer with an engineering qualification equivalent to NVQ Level 7 and extensive teaching experience, I am passionate about helping students unlock their full potential. I believe every student can succeed with the right guidance, encouragement, and a learning approach tailored to their individual needs.

I specialise in Mathematics, Verbal Reasoning, Non-Verbal Reasoning, and English preparation for the 11+ Grammar School Entrance Exam. My lessons are designed to strengthen core subject knowledge while developing critical thinking, problem-solving, vocabulary, comprehension, and exam techniques. Whether your child needs support to improve confidence, catch up with schoolwork, or prepare for entrance examinations, I provide structured and engaging lessons that deliver measurable progress.

My teaching style is patient, supportive, and interactive. I adapt each lesson to suit the student's ability, pace, and learning style, ensuring they feel comfortable asking questions and are motivated to achieve their best. I regularly monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to help students and parents track improvement.

My aim is not only to help students achieve excellent academic results but also to inspire a genuine enjoyment of learning and build the confidence they need to succeed both inside and outside the classroom.

I am available for tutoring during evenings and weekends and look forward to helping your child achieve their academic goals
