About Irekefe
I have over 12 years (periods ranging from as far back as 2009 up until date 2023) of both in-class (large group) and high school settings and private (one-on-one home lessons inclusive) of teaching and tutoring senior high school students mainly in mathematics, further mathematics, and the pure sciences—physics and chemistry. I have developed my expertise in teaching and tutoring during the course of these years of engaging in active tutoring of various categories of students, such that I can always come down to the student’s level and simplify my teaching contents as far as possible. Furthermore, my teaching methods are highly illustrative and practically oriented (I love to use practical phenomena at home, in the environment, etc. to deepen the student's understanding of concepts, particularly in subjects such as physics and chemistry). These methods have produced tremendous positive results over the years, as virtually all my students excelled in various national and international examinations with very high grades. I have also attended some teaching workshops and seminars over the course of these years. Another unique feature of my teaching technique is that it is designed to encourage low-performing students to become high-performing students, and this is evident in several cases I can point to. I have worked as both a full-time and part-time teacher and tutor in various high schools, colleges, and coaching centres.

My teaching methods are highly illustrative and practically oriented. I can come to the students' level to help them quickly understand the concept being taught. I can have multiple hours of classes if required. I have a bachelor of engineering in electrical and electronic engineering and over 10 years of teaching experience. I am a born teacher who is passionate about teaching and sees teaching as an immeasurable contribution to humanity.
