About Jia Ming
With 300+ hours of professional online math teaching experience at Think Academy US, I have taught Grade 5 math classes full of students while abiding *strict lesson quality requirements*. I graduated Think Academy's intense online teacher training course for fully engaging lessons, lesson preparations and proper parent feedback.
In my school days, I achieved Top in the World for IGCSE Additional Mathematics, 98 marks for A-level Further Mathematics and S, 1, S for Cambridge STEP examinations. I recently graduated Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering at Monash University. Fluent in English, conversational in Mandarin & Malay.
Most importantly, I am a math enthusiast who loves solving problems for fun. My specialty is in MIT integration bee questions, but I overall have most basic topics covered: geometry, combinatorics, arithmetic, algebra, number theory, probability & statistics.

I design custom fun lessons to challenge your thinking! My philosophy is that when you see the beauty of mathematics, get sincerely intrigued by its problems, exam questions become a breeze.
Over each 30–90 mins lesson, we shall tackle your weakest math topic with increasingly difficult problems. I ensure every lesson fits the student's capabilities and stretches their problem solving in their own unique way!
At the end of each lesson, I like to design my own question that really tests the student's understanding and creative problem solving. I never spoonfeed the solutions and always keep them thinking hard while enjoying the math!
