About Shantha Kumar
Generally I am a very outgoing and friendly person in nature. I prefer my students to be comfortable in asking questions and as always being curious about the subject matter. This is particularly important to me as I would be able to understand the issues or concerns projected by my students and simultaneously work together to solve it. On top of that, I highly encourage my students to actively participate in group discussions every once in a while for a better learning experience.

My teaching style is more of a directive approach where the classes would be conducted through listening and following directions. For instance, as a tutor I would promote learning via lectures, audio/visual presentations and etc. and whereas the students would primarily listen to the instructions/lecture being delivered by taking down notes and doing role plays.
I currently hold a Bachelor's Degree (Hons) in Petroleum Engineering and I am very much interested in tutoring STEM related subjects for Form 3, Form 4 and Form 5 (SPM) students.
My classes would usually be conducted via Zoom/Microsoft teams on a one-to-one basis.
