About Eng
I’m a trained engineer with a strong academic background in mathematics and problem-solving. I excelled in SPM and A-Level exams, and went on to graduate as a top achiever in Mechanical Engineering. My education and engineering experience have deepened my appreciation for how math works in real-world applications — something I aim to share with my students.

My approach to tutoring focuses on helping students truly understand the concepts, rather than just memorizing formulas or procedures. I believe that when students grasp the "why" behind mathematical ideas, they become more confident, independent problem-solvers. I encourage questions, use real-life examples when possible, and adapt my explanations to suit each student’s learning style. Lesson Structure A typical lesson lasts 1.5 hours, which allows enough time to explain new topics, go through practice problems, and address any questions the student may have. I also make sure to review key concepts from previous lessons to reinforce learning. Experience and Qualifications While I’m new to private tutoring, I have 3 months of experience teaching mathematics in a secondary school, where I worked with students across a range of ability levels. This experience helped me understand how to communicate mathematical ideas clearly and manage different learning paces. Who My Lessons Are For My lessons are suitable for primary and secondary school students, whether they need help catching up, preparing for exams, or looking to deepen their understanding of math topics.
