About Praveen
I am very interested in mathematics and problem-solving. I passed my advanced level in mathematics and I was the highest result taker for mathematics. Not only at an advanced level, but I also have 1st class results for mathematics at University. I have a total experience of 10 years of mathematics tutoring and I am going to make you interested in mathematics.

What I do when I get the chance to family tutor in mathematics, is share a way of learning that gives a student a chance to feel supported and personalized at the same time. My first step is to identify where each of my students fits on the unique strengths, weaknesses, and learning style spectrum and create lessons that specifically aim to meet them where they are so they actually learn. I record less and ask more: I intentionally reduce rote memorization and encourage students to develop a deep understanding of core concepts so that students can unplug, tackle new problems, and feel confident doing so. I do this through interactive problem solving exercises to encourage students active engagement and critical thinking so they can apply their knowledge successfully. As a side note, I also try to foster a patient, encouraging environment where students aren’t afraid to ask questions, or to learn from their mistakes. I track progress, and provide feedback which teaches feedback so that each session stays on track with the student’s goals, and the time we have together is both productive and rewarding.
