About Mary
As a graduate engineering student, I have taken my fair share of challenging math and fluid dynamics courses and I know how valuable a good tutor can be. Throughout my undergraduate degree I was able to be a tutor for multiple algebra, precalculus, and calculus classes, as well as fundamental fluid dynamics courses. My favorite courses in college thus far have been my math and fluids classes and I believe a strong understanding of these fundamentals is essential. I am looking forward to helping students improve their understanding of these concepts and gain more confidence when solving these problems!

I have been a tutor and TA throughout my undergraduate career for both math and fluid dynamics courses. I let the student bring their questions to the session and we walk through them step-by-step. I also try to provide videos as learning aids and provide similar, real-world applications to help explain answers. I like to help the student walk through the process and guide them towards the answer and hear their thought process, rather than just giving them the answer.
I have really enjoyed being a tutor in the past and am excited to provide any assistance I can!
