About Isha
I'm a biomedical engineering graduate who's passionate about educating kids. I am a first-generation college student and know how difficult it is not to have family members who can help with homework. I want students to know that they aren't dumb for not understanding certain concepts. I am a lifelong learner and have an interest in promoting STEM awareness!

My teaching method includes:
Interactive Learning: I believe in making learning a two-way process. I engage students in discussions, ask questions, and encourage them to actively participate in the learning experience. This interactive approach helps in better comprehension and retention of information.
Real-world Applications: Drawing connections between theoretical concepts and real-world applications is crucial. I strive to illustrate how scientific principles, language skills, and historical events have practical implications in everyday life and various fields of study.
Customized Lesson Plans: Each student has unique learning needs and preferences. I tailor lesson plans to accommodate individual strengths and areas that need improvement. This personalized approach ensures that students receive targeted assistance where they need it the most.
Problem-Solving Emphasis: Especially in science and engineering subjects, problem-solving is a key skill. I focus on developing problem-solving abilities by presenting challenging questions and guiding students through the process of finding solutions independently.
My lessons are for struggling k-12 students who need support in Science, Reading, English, Social Studies, and History.
