About Akshat
Beyond academics, I am actively involved on campus, which has helped me develop a strong sense of responsibility and professionalism. I currently serve as the Junior Treasurer for the UM Wetlanders, where I help with budgeting, record-keeping, and organizing student activities. I also work in exam invigilation, supporting professors in maintaining academic integrity and managing students during tests. In addition, I have led multiple student groups and business case competition teams, which has strengthened my leadership, communication, and teamwork skills. These experiences mean that I take my commitments seriously, I am well-organized, and I always aim to create a respectful, reliable, and motivating learning environment for my students.

Hi! My name is Akshat and I’m an international student at the University of Manitoba. I hold a diploma in Environmental Engineering and am currently pursuing my Bachelor’s degree. I also scored an overall 8.0 band in IELTS, which reflects my strong command of English. I offer clear, practical English lessons for middle school, high school, college, and university students. I can help you with grammar, sentence structure, essay and assignment writing, reading comprehension, vocabulary building, and presentation skills. I also focus on spoken English and everyday communication so you feel more confident in class and in real life. Because I am a student myself, I understand the challenges of studying in English, especially in Canada. My teaching style is friendly, patient, and supportive – you can ask the same question as many times as you need. My lessons are personalized and practical: we often use your real homework, essays, class notes, and projects so everything we do is directly useful for you. I also have a strong interest in business and communication, so I can help with professional emails, résumés, cover letters, and presentations if needed. All classes are online (Zoom or Google Meet) and scheduled according to your availability.
