About Jobin
I’m a Mechanical Engineer (MEng) who now works explaining complex problems in simple terms, and I bring that same clarity to every GCSE subjects that I teach. Whether your child is stuck at a 3 or pushing for a 7+, I build confidence first, then grades.

I tutor Foundation and Higher tier subjects across AQA, Edexcel, OCR.
How my lessons work:
We start with a quick diagnostic so I know exactly which topics are holding you back.
No wasted time re-teaching what you already know.
I explain the why, not just the steps. Methods stick when they make sense.
Every lesson includes real exam questions and tips for picking up method marks, even on questions you can’t fully finish.
The pace is set by you. Some students like lots of worked examples, others want to jump straight into past papers. I adapt.
Parents get a short update after each session covering what we covered, what’s improving, and what’s next.
I’m patient, friendly and never make anyone feel silly for asking a question. Lots of students tell me maths “just didn’t make sense” at school. My job is to change that.
Message me with your exam board, tier and current or predicted grade, and I’ll reply quickly with how I’d help.

Jobin is a patient, clear and genuinely encouraging tutor. He has a real talent for taking something that feels complicated and breaking it down step by step until it makes sense.
When I was struggling with GCSE Maths, Jobin sat down with me. By the end I actually understood it, not just how to get the answer.
With his engineering background, Jobin knows maths inside out, but what stands out most is how calm and approachable he is. He never makes you feel silly for asking a question. I’d recommend him to any student who wants to build confidence in maths and see real progress.View more recommendations
